Valerie Hobson

Valerie Hobson was born on the 14th of April, 1917.

She appeared in two classic monster films in 1935 – as Elizabeth in The Bride of Frankenstein, and Lisa Glendon in Werewolf of London. Quintessentially English, although born in Northern Ireland, Hobson was famously married to scandalised politician John Profumo.

Valerie Hobson died in Westminster on 13th November, 1998.
