English film and television actress Jennifer Jayne was born on the 14th of November 1931.

Born Jennifer Jayne Jones in Yorkshire to theatrical parents, she adopted her foreshortened stage name of Jennifer Jayne to avoid confusion with the Hollywood actress Jennifer Jones. Her most notable horror film was Dr Terror’s House of Horrors (Amicus 1965).

Jennifer Jayne died on the 23rd of April, 2006.
