House of Wax (Warner Bros 1953)

House of Wax, starring Vincent Price, and directed by André de Toth, was the first colour 3-D feature from a major American studio, and went on general release on April 25, 1953.

A remake of the 1933 Warner classic, Mystery of the Wax Museum, the film was also the first 3-D movie to feature stereophonic sound to be presented in regular movie theatres.
